Concrete crack compaction
In push or pull stressed components out of ferroconcrete cracks develop that can have negative impacts on the durability and the performance characteristics.
From certain width of flaws the durability of the building component is not guaranteed any longer because water and oxygen as well as other harmful substances like salts can get through the flaw to the reinforcement and evoke a corrosion of the steel.
For a stretchable connection of cracks and cavities PUR-injection resins are generally used.
With under pressure water bearing cracks an object-related decision is made if there has to be a preinjection with injection foam resin.
The injection is done without thermal insulation through drill grabbers.

The drilling hole distance is to be chosen in dependence of the width of the crack, the thickness of the component and the temperature-dependent processing time as well as the viscosity of the material. At the filling of water bearing cracks beforehand as a rule these are flushed with water. Like this moisture reactive PUR-resins can despite dry cracks reach their maximum expansion.
